Dr. Josephine Kim
Dr. Josephine Kim is a faculty member in Prevention Science and Practice at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
She is also the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Her work focuses on bridging the cultural gap between immigrant parents and their US-born children through research, practice, and consultation. She founded Mustard Seed Generation in the aftermath of the Virginia Tech shooting in 2007 to raise awareness of mental health issues that affect the Korean American population and intercultural and intergenerational conflicts that arise in Korean American families. Through MSG, she hopes to foster a greater holistic growth in the Korean American population.
