Mental Health Professional Summits
After hosting a conference in Dallas, it quickly became apparent that many Korean American mental health professionals were seeking a network to connect with others in the field.
In early 2019, Mustard Seed Generation partnered with Lifecare Services, a local counseling service in Dallas, to host the first gathering for Korean American mental health professionals.
What is a summit?
It is a local gathering of Korean American mental health professionals that meet on a quarterly basis. This group exists to carry out the mission of MSG in their local contexts — to spark dialogue around mental health in their Korean American communities. The summits serve to build a strong network of Korean American mental health professionals to collectively serve the local community and support local professionals to create sustainable change.
Who can attend?
Summits are for Korean American mental health professionals (psychologists, licensed counselors, social workers, LPC-interns, mental health advocates, etc.)
How can I join?
Currently, we’re only hosting summits in Dallas, TX. Our hope is to replicate these summit models and bring the Korean American mental health professionals together in major cities across the country. If you’re located in the Dallas metroplex or are interested in working with MSG to get a chapter started in your city, contact us!
