33% of Korean Americans reportedly struggle with depression and mental health problems. And yet, Korean Americans are 3x less likely to seek professional help than white Americans.
Why is that?
many Korean Americans don’t seek help due to social stigma, linguistic and cultural barriers, and an overall lack of awareness of mental health.
Since 2017, more than 1,500 parents and children have shared their stories and struggles through our conferences and our workshops.
“Mental health issues can be incredibly isolating, which only worsens the problem, but with MSG, there is finally an organization that provides the much needed safe space and counseling network for the Korean community to turn to so that silent sufferers can be heard and healed.”

He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”
