MSG National Summits
In 2020, we held our inaugural National Summit virtually across 24 different states and 3 countries.
National Summit is a one-day conference where mental health professionals network with other professionals and organizations and learn about mental health issues relevant to the Korean American community. The goal of the National Summit is to provide a place of respite, targeted learning, and strategic networking for Korean American mental health professionals. We want to raise national awareness of mental health in the Korean American community by caring for our mental health professionals' success and well-being and collaborating strategically with mental health professionals and organizations.
“It was great to see all the passion there was from Korean Americans across the US working in mental health, especially in the church communities. As a non-Christian, this was very heartening and illuminating to see the powerful work being done in partnership with churches.”

“I felt seen and was reminded that as a Korean American, I am not alone in my passion to connect Koreans to their overall health.”

"…I feel the power of our generation. I feel the power of our generation as we come of age and take on the mantle of becoming the adults in this society—that we may be able to take the time to understand our shared traumas, our stories, our experiences...and that we might be able to create spaces for us to heal.”
